And after they had consumed the food which they had purchased, Israel told his son's to return to Egypt to buy more but his son's refused saying they could not return without their brother Benjamin. (Keep in mind Simeon had already been left in Egypt during this time.) Israel was hesitant, to say the least, about allowing Benjamin (Rachel's youngest son and brother to Joseph) to journey with his brothers considering what he believed to have occurred to Joseph. He eventually relented and allowed Benjamin to travel with his brothers. They took with them double the amount of money since their money from the first visit had not been collected. When they arrived in Egypt the brothers were taken to Joseph's home where their feet were washed and food was served to them. Joseph saw his brother Benjamin for the first time in years. He became filled with emotion and left the presence of his brothers. When dinner was served the brothers ate with each other; Jospeh dined alone. (Genesis 43)
